Privacy

What this site keeps, plainly said.

Short version: only what you hand over, an anonymous count of visits, and a signal to Google when someone clicks through to buy the book.

What you hand over

If you join the newsletter, ask for a signed copy, or leave a review, the site stores exactly what you typed: your email or name, the words you wrote, and which form you used. These go straight to Emili and are never sold or shared for marketing. Reviews appear on the site only after Emili reads and approves them. To be removed from any list, use the contact page and say the word.

Visit counting

The site keeps anonymous counts of page visits and which buttons get used, so Emili can see whether readers are finding their way around. No names or emails are attached to these counts.

Ad measurement (Google)

This site advertises through Google Ads. When you click a buy button to Amazon or Barnes & Noble, the site tells Google Ads that a click happened, so the ads can be measured and Google can show them to people more likely to enjoy this kind of book. This measurement uses Google’s advertising cookies and shares basic visit data with Google.

If you live in a region whose privacy laws require consent for this, the site asks you first, and nothing is shared for ad measurement until you accept. You can change your choice anytime with the “Ad measurement settings” link in the footer. Your choice (accept or decline) and the time you made it are stored in your own browser as your record. Google’s own data use is covered by Google’s privacy policy.

Where your data lives

Signup, review, and visit data is stored on Lovable’s hosting platform. Emails you receive come through the site’s email service. Questions or removal requests: use the contact page.
