Emili Taylor
Fantasy author. Lover of dragons, morally questionable characters, sarcasm, and worlds where nothing is ever quite what it seems.
Emili Taylor is a fantasy author with a love for dragons, morally questionable characters, sarcasm, and worlds where nothing is ever quite what it seems.
Living with Conversion Disorder has shaped parts of Emili's life in ways she never expected. Long before Wrapped in Veilfire existed on paper, storytelling became a way for her to escape when the real world felt like too much. At night — when trauma and nightmares made sleep unkind — she built worlds in her imagination and disappeared into them.
Over the years, those worlds grew, the characters became louder, and one of those stories eventually became the Wings of Lost Gods Saga.
When she isn't writing, Emili can usually be found juggling far too many projects, drinking an unreasonable amount of coffee, or disappearing into whatever new idea has taken over her brain.
Wrapped in Veilfire is her debut novel and the first book in the Wings of Lost Gods Saga.
"When the nights were bad, I imagined a cave. It was full of doors, and behind every single one was a different story — a different world I could walk into instead. One of those doors became Wrapped in Veilfire."
